On this day last year, over 8,600 customers and over 1,000 businesses were affected as a result of the Merrimack Valley gas disaster. Tragically, 18-year-old Leonel Rondon lost his life and many individuals were injured or without homes. This shocking event rocked the community, and Merrimack Valley’s emergency responders acted heroically. In the days following, it was our mission to mobilize electricians from all over the country to aid in the restoration of power. We are happy to have been part of the solution to help restore our community after the events that took place on September 13, 2018.
